Normal operations resume at Accident & Emergency Department of Spanish Town Hospital following flooding at weekend

The Southeast Regional Health Authority (SERHA) says the Accident and Emergency Department at the Spanish Town Hospital is back in full operation.

The unit had been relocated, and hospital operations scaled back to emergencies only due to severe flooding from recent heavy rains.

In an update today, SERHA says the hospital’s comprehensive range of services, including specialized clinics, outpatient care and surgical procedures, have now been restored.

Additionally, the Jamaica/Cuba Eye Care Programme at St. Joseph’s hospital is back in full operation.
