No murders recorded in May for St Elizabeth
St. Elizabeth saw a significant reduction in major crimes, in May.
Head of the St Elizabeth police Superintendent Kenneth Chin said, for the month of may no murders were recorded in the southern parish.
Speaking at Thursday‘s monthly meeting of the St. Elizabeth Municipal Corporation, Superintendent Chin commended citizens for using amicable means to resolve disputes.
He said there has also been significant reductions in larceny and shootings.
However, there was an increase in firearm seizures.
