No business issue, says Sizzla over 2022 plaque burning
There is no business issue accompanied by the burning of the plaque, says Sizzla as he discussed the reason behind him burning a plaque given to him by DJ Khaled in December 2022 for his work on the Grateful and Father of Asad albums.
While speaking on the Nightly Fix the give me a try Singjay said he burnt the plaque because his name was listed in a very small font on the award.
When questioned on his feelings and relationship with Khaled since the incident Sizzla said he does not hold on to things and have moved on from that.
The entertainer contributed to the two albums, collaborating on Holy Mountain, featuring Buju Banton and Mavado, and singing the lead track I’m so grateful.
Sizzla, Capleton, Mavado, Buju Banton and Skillibeng later collaborated on the track for These Streets Know My Name.
The Solid as a Rock Singer later apologized to DJ Khaled hailing the producer along with several of his colleagues, at a family fun day and bonfire spearheaded by the Charlemont Housing Scheme Youth Foundation in Linstead, St. Catherine.
