The Norman Manley International Airport has advised Skillibeng to file a police report after he claimed on social media that over US$100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his luggage at the airport.
In a post that has since been deleted, the “Wap Wap” dancehall deejay wrote, “To the person weh tek out mi $100kUSD wut a jewelry a NMIA before it guh pon d airplane DM me and save yourself.” He continued, “Limited time frame. The airport, tagged in Skillibeng’s post, responded via their official Instagram account, urging the deejay to report the matter to the police at both airports through which he traveled and with the airline he used.
“We have seen a post from entertainer Skillibeng stating that he discovered he had lost jewelry from his luggage after flying from the Norman Manley International Airport,” the statement read.
