Micro Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) and charitable organizations have been granted more time to settle outstanding National Housing Trust (NHT) contributions and avoid penalties.

This as the government has extended the NHT’s Employer Arrears Amnesty Programme.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness announced the extension during the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association’s 2025 Expo opening ceremony.

He explained that the amnesty which started on June 11, last year was initially scheduled to conclude on March 31.

However, it will now run until May 31.
