National Housing Trust (NHT) contributors are being advised to exercise caution when applying online for their refunds.

The advice comes as applications for contributions made in 2016, open tomorrow.

In a recent statement, the NHT said contributors can only apply for refunds through three of its online platforms – the website, the mobile app and the ‘NHT online’ portal.

Speaking during a recent interview, NHT’s Assistant General Manager of Corporate Communications, Dwayne Berbick, warned of scams targetting contributors.

He said persons should be wary of fictitious communication from fraudsters.
