Newly minted Finance Minister Fayval Williams says she will work tirelessly to build a stable future for Jamaica.

Speaking at this morning’s post-cabinet press briefing shortly after her appointment was announced, Mrs. Williams said she was deeply honoured to be Jamaica’s first female Finance Minister.

She noted that the role is one of great responsibility and comes at a pivotal moment in the country’s history.
