Newly elected President of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce Emile Leiba says his tenure will prioritize economic growth and competitiveness.
He also wants the Chamber to contribute to building a future-ready workforce and continue to champion ethical, sustainable and inclusive growth.
He adds that leadership in this era requires agility, collaboration and boldness.
According to Mr Leiba, it is not enough to manage the present; the future must also be shaped.
He states that the Chamber will harness digital tools, expand international linkages, and build stronger networks across the diaspora to unlock new avenues for growth.
Mr Leiba was elected yesterday and will be President for the 2025-2026 term.
Mr Leiba, the managing partner of DunnCox Attorneys-at-Law, succeeds Phillip Ramson, who was first elected to that post in 2023.
