New Reggae boys head coach Heimir Hallgrimsson of Iceland is now in the island ahead of Jamaica’s friendly international against Argentina at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on September 27.
The 55 year old who guided his home country to the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals will be joined later by the other members of the technical staff.
Goalkeeper coach Guðmundur Hreiðarsson who is also from Iceland along with assistant coach Helgi Kolviosson of Liechtenstein and fitness coach Liechtenstein born German citizen Sebastien Boxleitner may travel directly to New Jersey for the international friendly.
The reggae boys are scheduled to assemble in New Jersey on September 24, for the game against the Argentinians.
