New officers urged to remember that their actions not only reflect on them, but also on the JCF
Police officers are being reminded that their decisions and actions reflect not only on them but also on the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
The reminder came from head of the National Police College, Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, Merrick Watson, at the passing out parade for batch 153 at the College in St. Catherine.
One hundred and ninety-five (195) new officers are graduating, having completed their training at the National Police College of Jamaica.
Speaking at the event, Acting Assistant Commissioner Watson, noted that today is a testament to the hard work, perseverance, and commitment of the new officers.
He urged them to take on their new roles with integrity.
ACP Watson encouraged the graduates to always remember the core values instilled in them during training and to uphold the principles of fairness and respect.
He added that they should approach each situation with compassion and understanding.
