NBA Hall of famer Shaquille Oneal to be honoured at 11th Annual Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards
NBA Hall of famer and former LA Lakers star Shaquille Oneal will on Saturday November 9, be honoured by the Muhammad Ali Center, with the the 11th Annual Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award, for his outstanding work and efforts off the courts.
The 4 time NBA Champion and Olympic gold medalist will received the organization’s highest honor at the ceremony to be held in Kentucky.
Shaquille has raised millions of dollars for charity and he is a national spokesperson for the Boys & Girls clubs of America.
In 2019, he established the Shaquille O’neal Foundation, which creates pathways for undeserved youth to help them achieve their full potential. the foundation works to instill hope and bring about change in communities, collectively shaping a brighter future for our children.
O’Neal is also a national spokesperson for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization he credits as being a safe haven for him when he was growing up.
The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards are the Ali Center’s largest annual fundraiser.
The ceremony honors those who have dedicated their lives to humanitarianism and the principles Ali lived by.
