National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang said the security forces have noted new challenges with tackling white-collar crime, and as such, new approaches will have to be devised to thwart the multi-billion dollar illicit activities.

In making his contribution to the Sectoral Debate today Dr Chang, cited lottery scamming, extortion, and advance fee fraud, as among these activities.

Dr Chang said several agencies, both locally and internationally, continue to work together to disrupt white-collar crime.
