“Free” was the reaction from dancehall artiste Munga Honorable after he and his co-accused were freed of murder charges that had hung over them for almost a decade.

The ruling came one day after Munga celebrated his birthday, making the decision an especially significant moment for the entertainer.

In a video sent to Music News, Munga expressed gratitude to his legal team, led by attorney Christopher Townsend.

The men were freed after the court found several inconsistencies in the testimony of the trial’s sole eyewitness.
