Mr Vegas supports Jamaican singer Foxy Brown
Dancehall artiste, Mr. Vegas has come to the aid of Jamaican singer, Jennifer Esmerelda Hylton who goes by the stage name, Foxy Brown.
In a recent TikTok, Mr. Vegas shared a video where he, accompanied by a team of supportive individuals, could be seen taking the 90s singer who appears to have fallen on hard times for a wellness check.
Mr. Vegas’ caption accompanying the video emphasized the importance of giving, living, and sending positive energy to those in need. “This is the year for giving and living.” he wrote. “Let’s send some positive energy to our sister, the original Foxy Brown.”
The video has sparked an outpouring of support for Foxy Brown, with fans and fellow artistes alike commending Mr. Vegas for his kindness.
Foxy Brown, not be confused with the American rapper with the same name, came to prominence in the late 1980s with covers of Tracey Chapman’s Sorry and Fast Car. Her cover version of Sorry topped the reggae charts and secured a placing on the Billboard Top 100 Black Singles chart in 1989. She released her debut album, Foxy in 1989, which included songs like Let’s Celebrate, Try, and Baby It’s You. In 1990 she released a second album, My Kind of Girl, followed by Whip Appeal in 1991. Since then, she has been missing from the entertainment scene.
