Member of Parliament for St. Catherine South Eastern, Robert Miller, has reiterated plans to re-brand Portmore’s unofficial red-light district “Back Road” into a tourist destination.

The area, properly known as Port Henderson Road, is frequented by sex workers.

Speaking during his State of the Constituency Debate in the Lower House yesterday, Mr. Miller said the area has potential to become a hip strip, offering something for everyone.
