Mount Pleasant unveils weakened roster for 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup entry
Caribbean Cup champions Mount Pleasant has unveiled a weakened roster for their 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup entry.
THe roster revealed by the regional governing body Concacaf is missing big name players Tyreek Mcgee, Lamar Walker, Tevin Shaw and Renaldo Biggs.
Mount Pleasant is down to face the winner of the first round clash between La Galaxy and Sporting San Miguelito on March 11 and is also reported to be facing a race against time to secure visas for Haitian players Daniel Saint-Fleur, Johnson jeudy, Rafa Intervil, Clifford Thomas, and Angelo Exilus.
This in addition to other players including : Jahshaun Anglin and Fitzroy Cummins who are reportedly unable to travel to the USA .
This leaves just 17 players on the 23 player roster revealed , who are currently able to suit up for the St Ann side in the USA.
Meanwhile, striker Warner Brown is also reported listed as another player who will not be available for the march fixture.
Earl Dennis, Owen Jump, Claver Nugent, Shaquan Davis and Jamoi Topey, all players with limited minutes so far this season are on the current 23 man roster.
In the meantime, Mount Pleasant haven chosen to register fewer than 35 players can continue adding players up to 44 hours before their opening match provided the roster does not exceed 35 players.
