Reigning champions Mount Pleasant have underlined their dominance of the Caribbean Cup after landing four selections in the tournament’s Best Eleven following their title-winning campaign.

Goalkeeper Tafari Chambers, defender Jamoi Topey, midfielder Jahshaun Anglin and captain Daniel Green were all recognized after playing pivotal roles in the St. Ann-based outfit’s march to the trophy.

Chambers was a standout between the posts, producing 17 saves across eight matches to anchor the champions’ defensive effort. Topey was equally influential at the back, logging 545 minutes over seven games while completing 257 passes, along with five tackles and seven interceptions.

Anglin delivered a well-rounded performance in midfield, featuring for 608 minutes and contributing 26 tackles and 225 passes as Mount Pleasant controlled games throughout the tournament.

Captain Daniel Green capped off a superb campaign by also claiming the Caribbean Cup’s Best Player award. The attacker scored two goals and provided one assist in 553 minutes of action, finishing with nine total shots, six of them on target.

Caribbean Cup runners-up Universidad O&M FC were also well represented in the Best XI, with Julen Olasagasti, Yoan Melo, Jon Tricado and Herard Frantzety earning selections after their impressive run to the final.

The Best XI is completed by Edward Reyes of Cibao FC, Kevin Molino of Defence Force, and Rivaldo Correa of Cibao FC.
