Motorists are being advised to traverse with caution along the Bog Walk Gorge in St. Catherine as emergency responders attempt to clear fallen utility poles and wires following a train line accident nearby.
Reports are that a Windalco train derailed, resulting in some box cars falling into the river earlier this afternoon.
Head of the Constabulary’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, Assistant Commissioner Dr. Gary McKenzie told IRIE FM News that the incident happened at about 12:45 pm.
He reported that no one was injured.
