Mother of slain artiste Medikk offers to minister to persons responsible for her killing

The mother of dancehall artiste Stephanie Williams, better known as Medikk, has offered to minister God’s word to the persons responsible for her murder.

Millicent McCurdy, a devout Christian, who raised her 3 daughters to follow suit, appealed for more people to give their lives to god.

At the funeral service for Medikk, at the Church of God in Savanna La Mar, Westmoreland this morning McCurdy held on tightly to the urn bearing the ashes, lamenting that no parent should have to bury their child.

McCurdy said the killing of her eldest daughter has left her broken, but not bitter.

Last August, Williams was reported missing and several search efforts proved futile.

The police launched an investigation and in February skeletal remains were found in Portmore, St. Catherine.

DNA tests confirmed that the remains belonged to Williams.

The post mortem revealed that she had been shot.

The police indicated that they have identified suspects in the case but are yet to make an arrest.
