The mother of the 7-year-old boy who was found dead at his home in Bickersteth, Cambridge, in St. James, yesterday, has been charged with child neglect.

The young boy- Aden rose, was found dead at around 6: 45 am, with wounds to his face.

Head of the police’s Corporate Communications Unit, (CCU), Senior Superintendent of Police Stephanie Lindsay, told Irie Fm news, that the boy’s mother, who was taken into custody on Tuesday, was brought before court and remanded.

SSP, Lindsay said investigations into the cause of the child’s death, are ongoing.
