More tributes pour in for veteran Journalist Barbara Gayle
As the media and legal fraternities continue to mourn the gruesome murder of veteran journalist, Barbara Gayle, more tributes are pouring in.
Gayle was killed at her home in Caymanas, St Catherine yesterday.
The St Catherine police are following strong leads in the case.
The Jamaican Bar Association,(JAM-BAR), noted that Gayle was well known for her compelling court reporting and dedication to media.
Jam-bar said Gayle is remembered fondly by all members of the legal fraternity, including lawyers, judges and court staff.
Meantime, the Association of Christian Communicators and Media (ACCM) hailed Gayle as a devout christian and consummate professional.
President Jenni Campbell said Gayle served God through her profession, using her role as a truth-teller to make a positive impact.
She noted that Gayle’s influence extended beyond the news and court rooms.
