More than 3 thousand companies have been registered in Jamaica since the start of the year.

Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness made the disclosure at the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce’s Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Linkages day in Kingston today.

He said citizens are no longer waiting on jobs, instead, they are creating them.

He noted that businesses have access to millions in funding.
