Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry concerned about recent flare-up of crime in St. James
The Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry has expressed concern about the recent flare-up of violence and crime in St. James.
This as at least fourteen people have been killed in the parish since last Monday (May 8).
Among the incidents are 3 double murders and 1 triple murder.
Speaking with IRIE FM news, President of the Chamber, Oral Heaven said it is disheartening that after an enjoyable period of calm, criminal activities have again surged in the parish.
He said business owners and operators have expressed concern.
He is urging members of the business community to be vigilant and protect themselves from criminals.
