Montague proposes $15 billion programme to uplift poor and vulnerable Jamaicans
Member of Parliament for Western St. Mary Robert Montague has proposed the implementation of a $15 billion programme to uplift poor and vulnerable Jamaicans.
The Sports, Housing, Health, Agriculture, Rural Development and Employment (SHARE) programme would create job and earning opportunities for citizens.
Mr. Montague said it would target persons between 18 and 55 years.
Mr. Montague said funds allocated through the programme would be used on various projects, to include infrastructure, and training.
He was speaking in parliament on Tuesday.
