Mobay United land $12 million sponsorship boost from CPJ
Many time Jamaica Premier League champions Montego Bay United have secured a timely financial lift with the signing of a new multi-year sponsorship deal.
The western Jamaica powerhouse on Wednesday inked a three-year partnership with Montego Bay-based company Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ), valued at $12 million. Under the agreement, Mobay United will receive $4 million per season, strengthening the club’s operational capacity and on-field ambitions.
The official presentation took place at the Montego Bay Sports Complex and was attended by Yoni Epstein, Chairman of Montego Bay United, and Kemmar Lewis, Head of Marketing at CPJ.
On the field, Mobay United opened the new campaign with a 2–2 draw away to last season’s beaten finalists Mount Pleasant Academy on Sunday. They will be looking to build on that result when they host newly promoted Treasure Beach FC on Monday at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in their first home outing of the season.
