Miss Universe Jamaica 2025, Dr. Gabrielle Henry is in good health and nearing discharge, following her fall during the evening gown parade a preliminary event of the Miss Universe Pageant in Thailand last Wednesday.
The Miss Universe Organization, gave the update today.
It comes after the Ms. Universe Jamaica Co-National Directors said last Friday that medical personnel had indicated that Dr Henry would be required to remain in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a minimum of 7 days, as doctors continue their close monitoring and specialised care.
Today, the international organization said the past four days have included “difficult moments and unexpected concerns,” but it is grateful for the medical team and the care provided to address each issue.
The organization confirmed that it has assumed full responsibility for all related expenses, including accommodation and transportation for Dr. Henry’s family.
The pageant queen’s sister, Dr. Phylicia Henry-Samuels, and mother Maureen Henry are also in Thailand.
In the meantime the Miss Universe Organisation is urging the public to refrain from spreading unverified reports or speculation about the incident emphasizing that accurate information will be shared through official channels.
