Men accused of sexually assaulting teen girl and recording incident charged
Three men have been slapped with eleven charges following the assault of a 14 year old girl at a house in St. Catherine on February 5.
Charged are 19 year-old Romaine Sherly, otherwise called ‘Six’ and ‘TJ’, of Dupont Avenue, Kingston 20, as well as 21 year old Robert Scott, otherwise called ‘Sinnanick’ and ‘Nick’; and 20 year old Ackeem Williams, otherwise called ‘Tippy’, both of Phoenix Park, St. Catherine.
Reports from the St. Catherine south police are that at about midnight, the men met the complainant and invited her to the house, which was being operated as a rental property.
It is alleged that the men gave her a pill, after which they sexually assaulted her and videotaped the act.
A report was made to the police and an investigation launched.
The men were pointed out during an identification parade.
They have been charged with rape, grievous sexual assault, sexual touching of a child, unlawful detention with intention to commit grievous sexual assault and producing child pornography.
The other charges are: possession of child pornography with the intention to distribute, unlawful detention with intent to commit sexual intercourse, conspiracy to rape, conspiracy to commit grievous sexual assault, procuring violation of person threats of administering drugs and administering drug with the intent to commit undetectable offence
Their court dates are being finalised.
