Members of the Opposition’s Shadow Cabinet sign Leadership Code of Conduct
Members of the Opposition’s Shadow Cabinet signed the Leadership Code of Conduct yesterday.
The People’s National Party says the document developed initially, by the Integrity Commission embodies the seven principles of public life: selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
It says, together, these principles reflect the highest standards of ethical conduct expected of public officials.
PNP President and Leader of the Opposition, Mark Golding notes the significance of the signing, says the PNP pledges to serve with honesty, openness and responsibility, ensuring that the interests of the people remain at the centre of national life.
