“The best thing for me to do is keep silent,” said MC Nuffy in response to Sting promoters pulling the plug on their decision to honour the popular emcee for his contribution to the Boxing Day event. 

According to Tahheer Laing, son of Isaiah Laing and the lead for this year’s Sting, the decision to cancel the honour was based on a comment Nuffy made.

In a Music News exclusive, MC Nuffy expressed his respect for Laing and the Sting event but declined to comment further on the recent decision to suspend plans to honour him.

MC Nuffy, who was initially set to host Sting, is confirmed as the emcee for Vybz Kartel’s highly anticipated Freedom Street concert on New Year’s Eve, December 31.

Before Vybz Kartel announced his concert date, Sting organizers were concerned about a potential clash with their annual Boxing Day event, which will run from December 26 to 28 this year.
