Marley for Education programme invests in Jamaica’s future business leaders
The Rita Marley Foundation, through its Marley for Education programme, has announced the recipients of the 2025 Merline Heholt Scholarship.
In a social media update the foundation shared that this year’s awardees are Sabrina Campbell and Shamona Johnson, who both pursuing business degrees at the University of Technology in Kingston.
The scholarship now in its fourth year recognizes young women who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a strong commitment to advancing jamaica’s business landscape.
It also honours the legacy of Merline Heholt, a pioneering Jamaican businesswoman whose entrepreneurial spirit continues to inspire future generations.
Since its inception, the Marley for Education Programme has been a beacon of hope for students in Jamaica’s most vulnerable communities, providing economic support to families in need so that their children’s education can remain a top priority.
