Manhunt underway for prisoner who escaped from KPH
A manhunt is underway for a prisoner who escaped from the Kingston Public Hospital, KPH, today.
He is 29 year-old Chevaughn Carnegie.
Carnegie is one of four persons charged in relation to an attempted robbery and shooting incident in Spalding, Manchester on December 8.
He was under police guard at the KPH after being wounded during the incident.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding Carnegie’s escape.
He is being urged to report to the nearest police station immediately.
Persons knowing his whereabouts are being asked to contact the police.
Members of the public are also being reminded that it is a criminal offence to harbour fugitives.
