Member of Parliament for Manchester Central, Rhoda Crawford has expressed deep concern over the recent spate of robberies and shootings in Manchester.

The latest incident last night, (December 9) resulted in two deaths and the apprehension of four gunmen by the police, following a supermarket robbery in Porus.

Miss Crawford said the incidents are traumatizing.

She added that Manchester must not become a hotspot for crime.

Miss Crawford appealed to residents to be calm and to work with the security forces as they tackle the issue.
