Management of Montego Bay Metro and NWU to meet today to discuss wage issues affecting drivers
The Management of Montego Bay Metro and the National Workers Union, NWU are to meet at noon to discuss wage related issues affecting drivers of the government owned bus company.
The workers had been restive for several days due to a reported pay cut.
It’s alleged that their salaries were cut as they were recently overpaid under the new compensation system.
The workers have since returned to work.
Assistant Island Supervisor of the NWU, Alexander Nicholson told Irie FM News that management is expected to outline what errors were made at today’s meeting.
