A man was killed in a car crash along the Pen Hill main road in Manchester this afternoon.

He has been identified as Lemar Lewis.

The incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Comfort Hall and involved a white Toyota Wish motor car and a red Suzuki Swift.

Both vehicles were reportedly travelling in different directions and collided.

Three people aboard the vehicles were taken to hospital.

Lewis was pronounced dead while the others were admitted for treatment.
