Majority of money allocated for REACH programme last year used – Morgan
Most of the money allocated for works under the Relief Emergency Assistance and Community Help, REACH, programme during September to December 2024 has been spent.
$1.5 billion was earmarked for the period.
This was disclosed by Works Minister, Robert Morgan during yesterday’s Post Cabinet press briefing.
Reach is a $3 billion programme which was initiated to repair widespread road damage caused during the passage of Hurricane Beryl, in July, last year.
Mr. Morgan said parliamentarians and the National Works Agency are procuring the money to be spent for the first quarter of this year.
