Main road from Buff Bay to White Hall in Portland impassable following heavy rains
The main road from Buff Bay to White Hall in Portland is impassable.
This as heavy rainfall continues to affect the parish.
The National Works Agency (NWA) says the road is blocked in the community of Craigmill, where the river is now in spate.
Manager of Communication and Customer Services, Stephen Shaw says other areas in Portland are also being impacted by the inclement weather.
Portland is among 5 parishes under a Flash Flood Watch.
The others are St. Mary, St. Catherine, Clarendon and Manchester.
The Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. today.
