Local horse racing industry mourns the passing of veteran trainer Vincent ‘Vin’ Edwards
The local horse racing industry is in mourning following the passing of veteran trainer Vincent Vin Edwards.
Edwards died on Thursday at the age of 90.
Edwards who conditioned a number of top horses including the exciting “A” class runner Dye job in the 1980’s, also served as President of the Jamaica Racehorse Trainers Association .
Edwards was also a strong advocate for his colleagues and other stakeholders in the horse racing fraternity and was a stalwart in the trade union movement.
