Leon Bailey recalled following controversy

Aston Villa’s winger Leon Bailey, has been named in Reggae Boyz New Head coach Steve McClaren’s squad for next week’s CONCACAF Nation’s League clash against Cuba at the National Stadium.

Bailey who has been at the center of controversy following his suspension to the National team, has reportedly made a written commitment the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), clearing the way for McClaren to select him for the match.

Meanwhile JFF President Michael Ricketts admits there could have been missed messages on the public pronouncements on the stance for Bailey by General Secretary Dennis Chung and Chairman of the Technical Committee Rudolph Speid, but the most important thing is that the right steps were followed.

The full squad is: Andre Blake, Jahmali Waite, Coniah Boyce-Clarke, Dexter Lembikisa, D’shorn Bernard, Greg Leigh, Damion Lowe, Michael Hector, Amari Bell, Joel Lattibeaudiere, Ethan Pinnock, Richard King, Kasey Palmer, Karoy Anderson, Bobby Reid, Jon Russell, Adrien Reid, Shamar Nicholson Norman Campbell, Michail Antonio, Demarai Gray, Kaheim Dixon and Leon Bailey.
