Renowned sprint coach Glen Mills was last night honored at the people profile awards ceremony….held at the Faith Center in Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale. 

Mills who guided Usain Bolt to eight Olympic gold medals including two individual world records over the 100 and the 200 meters was honoured with the keys to Broward county and a lifetime achievement award.

Mills…..a recipient of the order of Jamaica….says he is grateful for the recognition of his accomplishment. 

Mills who also shaped the careers of 2011 world 100 metre champion Yohan Blake, Olympic bronze medalist Warren Weir former World Champion Kim Collins, Daniel Bailey and Aileen Bailey among others…..joins a distinguished list of winners that includes former Olympic 200 metre champion Veronica Campbell-Brown and Miami Heat all-star guard Dwyane Wayde.
