Labour Minister Pearnel Charles Junior is urging Jamaican companies to adopt emerging technologies that support safer,  more sustainable, and people-centered work environments.

Speaking during yesterday’s tour of Grace Food Processors’ Canning Division, Mr. Charles praised the company for setting a strong example in workplace safety and innovation.

He noted that the collaboration with Grace Kennedy, demonstrates how private sector innovation can align with national efforts to build a digitally resilient and health-conscious workforce.

World Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Day is observed annually on April 28.
