The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) says it is persisting with its enforcement efforts to remove derelict vehicles and illegal garages from the streets.

This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) and the National Solid Waste Management Authority.

In 2024, the KSAMC issued over 1,000 parochial road law notices across the municipality as part of its efforts to maintain cleaner streets.

KSAMC City Inspector, Alrick Francis, emphasized that this ongoing initiative aims to address the growing issue of garbage build-up and is focused on enhancing public safety and health.
