Kishane Thompson, Julian Alfred headline star-studded Prefontaine Classic line-up
Olympic silver medallist Kishane Thompson has been officially added to the men’s 100 metre field for the historic 50th staging of the Prefontaine Classic, set for July 5 at Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon.
The Jamaican sprint star returns for his second appearance at the prestigious meet, eager to impress once again after featuring in what became the closest 100m finish in Olympic history last summer in Paris.
Thompson joins a line-up that includes American bronze medallist Trayvon Bromell, and British national record holder Zharnel Hughes, setting the stage for a high-octane encounter. between some of the fastest men in the sport.
