Mayor of Kingston Delroy Williams, has indicated, that Kingston will soon get its own iconic, welcome sign.

Speaking at the monthly meeting of the municipality, the mayor said, the time is right, for the capital city, to receive it’s sign.

He made the comment, while referring, to the new 12 million dollar Negril sign, that was unveiled recently.

Mayor Williams said, the corporation has been working to get the Kingston sign installed, since 2017.

He said discussions were held with several stakeholders, about erecting the sign along the waterfront.
