Several charges have been laid against a Kingston man in connection with the murder of a 16-year-old girl last year.

Bianca Thompson of Albion Avenue, Kingston 5 was killed on February 25, 2024 during a home invasion.

Charged is 29-year-old Yashoy Clarke otherwise called ‘Yashii-poo’ of Lincoln Crescent Kingston 5.

Reports from the police are that at about 11:22 P.M., Bianca was at home when its alleged that Clarke and three other men entered the dwelling and opened gunfire hitting her in the upper body.

The men escaped.

Bianca was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Investigations led to the arrest of Clarke, who was charged with murder, shooting with intent, possession of prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition and using a firearm to commit a felony.

Clarke’s court date is being finalized.
