Kingston Eastern Police list two men as persons of interest in relation to case of missing businessman

The Kingston Eastern Police have listed two men as persons of interest in relation to the whereabouts of a businessman who has been reported missing.

Police say 43-year-old Kevin Walker of Vineyard Town went missing on Saturday, February 1.

Providing an update on the probe, Director of Investigation at the Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB), Superintendent Derrick Champagnie, named the persons of interest as Damion McFarlane, otherwise called ‘Diamond,’ and a man known only as Lavar.

Police had earlier reported that Walker was last seen at home around 11:45 A.M., before leaving to make a pick-up in the area.

Superintendent Champagnie said investigations have revealed that Walker’s disappearance is linked to a robbery.

He added that a decomposing body found in a barrel on Monday, February 3 is believed to be that of the missing businessman.

The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed.
