The Kingston East police have uncovered what they believe to be a car stealing ring.

Several scrapped vehicles, car parts, and license plates were found in Melbrook Heights, in Harbour View, Kingston on Wednesday.

Crime officer for Kingston Eastern, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Collin McKenzie says the discovery was made during a patrol of the area at about 5:30pm.

He is urging persons who believe that their vehicles were stolen and brought to the site, to contact the police.
