Kemar Foster called up to Reggae Boyz Squad for World Cup Qualifiers
Mount Pleasant goalkeeper Kemar Foster has been drafted into the Reggae Boyz squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Bermuda and Trinidad and Tobago.
Foster’s inclusion follows recent additions Jamoi Topey and Ronaldo Webster, and comes as a response to injuries suffered by Shaquan Davis and captain Andre Blake, who has not been included in the current roster.
The former Waterhouse custodian has already made four international appearances, with his most recent cap coming in March 2024, when Jamaica secured a 1–0 win over Trinidad and Tobago.
The Reggae Boyz are currently in Bermuda, having departed Kingston on Wednesday evening after a morning training session at Sabina Park.
Friday’s clash will take place at the Bermuda National Stadium. The last time the two teams met was in March 2020, when Jamaica earned a 2–0 victory thanks to goals from Jourdaine Fletcher and Kemar Beckford.
