Justice Marva McDonald-Bishop sworn in as the first female president of Jamaica’s Court of Appeal
The first female president of Jamaica’s Court of Appeal has been officially sworn in.
Justice Marva McDonald-Bishop who succeeds Justice Patrick Brooks, was sworn in this morning.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Andrew Holness highlighted the historic significance of Justice McDonald-Bishop’s appointment.
Meantime, Justice McDonald-Bishop said she accepts the post with pride.
