JTA President emphasizes that thriving education system requires collective effort
As the new academic year begins, President of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA), Mark Malabver, has emphasized that a thriving education system requires a collective effort.
He used the JTA’s back-to-school message to underscore the vital role of parents, stating that teachers alone cannot bear the full responsibility of educating the nation’s children.
Mr. Malabver reaffirmed the JTA’s commitment to stronger support for national initiatives, especially the National Parent Support Commission, stressing the need for greater collaboration among schools, families and communities.
