Commissioner of Police, Dr. Kevin Blake says Justices of the Peace (JPs) must understand that their role includes much more than the signing of documents.

Commissioner Blake who is also a JP says persons called to serve in this capacity must see themselves as partners in nation-building and public safety.

He explains that when JPs sign off on documents which allow citizens to conduct businesses, they are helping to protect the integrity of the various systems on which the country operates.

Dr. Blake was addressing a ministry of justice virtual sensitization session last evening.
